Dave Brandwein is a drummer & playback engineer, originally from Chicago, who spent 4 years in Los Angeles, CA and has now relocated to Nashville, TN. With 25+ years of experience behind the kit, both live and in the studio, he approaches every gig with a love for playing great songs.

Behind the kit, Dave has toured with Forest Blakk, Sean Stemaly, CHNNLL, Peachkit, The Shades, Brian Wight, Meagan Hickman, and more!

With many of the artists Dave works with, he is not only the drummer but the playback engineer, In-Ear monitor tech, and musical director.

In 2026, Dave joined the CoPilot Systems team as a playback engineer and not only worked in their shop building rigs for artists but went out on the road with Miguel for some dates on this CAOS tour.

Dave is also an educator, teaching private lessons to students of all ages, and a studio drummer, tracking remotely from his studio in Nashville or in-person at studios around the country.
